MENDON HALE

Born and raised in America’s Heartland and surrounded by the corn fields of rural Missouri, Hale learned how to drive a tractor, hunt and fish, and was taught valuable life lessons from his grandpa, (whose passing in 2019 helped inspire this album) that would solidify the man he is today. Hale grew up playing guitar and listening to the AM radio sounds of country music legends; Merle Haggard, George Jones, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Reed. Later, it was Alabama, Randy Travis and the barroom romping likes of Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks and John Michael Montgomery who helped forge his country music foundation. A 20-year veteran of the music industry, Hale has written and produced songs in a variety of genres. Traveling the world over, he has performed in front of huge audiences and contributed to countless albums. Fresh off of a 5-year stint in Nashville, he now finds himself living in Nebraska, surrounded by family.
