The quest for hot music led him to find an outlet through his turntables (a gift from his father). DJ “Jihad ” created a major buzz for himself at the early age of sixteen. He landed a deal which caused him to be known as the first Chicago hip-hop DJ on a major record deal. He had the pleasure and privilege to work and record with major artists and tour with DeLa Soul. He has also done shows with major artists throughout the country and has appeared on Rap City. He worked as a tour DJ for Epic, Warner Brothers, Universal and BMG/Loud records/ SRC
